Cases related to charges of harvesting wild rice with illegal equipment continue in Minnesota

The cases against two White Earth Nation band members facing charges for mechanical wild rice harvest on Height of Land Lake in Becker County continue with or without the defendants.
There are two men – Jesse Barrientez, 36, and Reino Rousu, 54 – each facing two charges of wild rice harvest with illegal equipment and harvesting outside of harvest hours on Aug. 28.
