A common phrase I hear or see posted on social media this time of year is, “I’m tagged out for the season!” It’s usually accompanied by a picture of the hunter’s white-tailed deer buck. While I know their statement relates to the punching of their antlered deer tag, many of those hunters haven’t reached their county or statewide bag limit. Part of me wonders if they’re really finished for the season after filling just one tag?
