Epizootic hemorrhagic disease continues to be a problem and a concern for hunters in much of southern Michigan.
As of Oct. 30, the often deadly whitetail virus had been confirmed in deer in 14 counties including Berrien, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Hillsdale, Ingham, Ionia, Jackson, Lenawee, Mecosta, Van Buren, and Washtenaw.
