Assuming Gov. Kathy Hochul eventually signs New York’s crossbow bill into law, there’s a few questions that remain to be answered.
First, is the timing of the potential signage, which is hoped and expected to happen in time for expanded crossbow use during the upcoming archery seasons. However, with hunting licenses set to go on sale in early August, and the annual hunting and trapping regulations guide already sent to the printer, any changes will not be reflected there.
