Years of experience in Labrador retriever ownership told me to remove my glasses before exiting the truck and walking in the door after a six-day stint at the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pa.
I was about to get mauled, this time by a joyous Molly and Riley, who had been out of sorts during my absence, as they are also when Paula is on the road for any extended period, which in a Lab’s world is anything more than three hours, it seems.
