Former Ohio Division of Wildlife law chief, Ken Fitz, dies at 61

Ken Fitz moved up through the ranks of the Ohio Division of Wildlife from starting out as a wildlife officer and eventually became the chief of the division’s law enforcement unit. (Photo courtesy ODNR)

Ken Fitz, former executive administrator of law enforcement for the Ohio DNR Division of Wildlife, died on Feb. 1 following a lengthy illness. He was 61.
Fitz hailed from Sandusky and worked for the division for 29 years in a variety of capacities, according to Kandy Klosterman, the division’s current executive administrator of law enforcement.
