Good news for wildlife will emerge from the ground this spring.
It doesn’t happen often, but when it does the benefits are immediate for some, and long-lasting for others. Through much of the southern half of Pennsylvania, cicadas from Brood XIV are set to emerge from the 17-year slumber, and for a couple of months it will be a smorgasbord for wildlife.
