The Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee, the new iteration of the Minnesota DNR’s citizen oversight committees, met for the first time on Monday, Feb. 3, for a kickoff.
“We built momentum in the first meeting,” said Eli Mansfield, chair of the committee and Minnesota chair of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. “We got to know what folks were excited to learn about and excited to do. And I think that’s a huge balance of making sure we’re successful: balancing learning and doing.”
