Is it ever too cold to hunt your dog? The answer involves many factors

A few weeks ago, sipping black coffee at my desk around 6 a.m., an email dropped into my inbox from an address I didn’t recognize.
It was from a reader who lives in southeastern Minnesota. He asked me an intriguing question, but one I’ve scarcely ever pondered: Is it ever too cold to hunt your dog?
Hmm. A good question, I told him, and one I intended to research. The short answer is: It depends.
