More than 120 waterfowl enthusiasts gathered Oct. 22-24 in Port Clinton, Ohio, to acknowledge and celebrate the long North American waterfowling tradition in western Lake Erie and its coastal marshes.
Hosted by the Lake Erie Marsh Association, Ducks Unlimited (DU), and the Ohio Division of Wildlife, many participants went on morning duck hunts, toured the Howard Marsh wetlands restoration project, and during meal times and social gatherings heard about the year’s accomplishments and updates by the host groups and volunteers.
