Conventional wisdom would lead you to believe that if you are hunting black bears in Pennsylvania, you need to head to areas with large blocks of woodlands.
Recent trends with our state’s black bears would indicate anything but. Now the bruins are as apt to be found in and around high human population areas as they are the big woods of the northern portion.
Hunting these bears in small locations can be tricky.
