Deer with a handgun? It’s possible and even productive in some instances

Technology has not made handgun hunting any easier. The stakes are summed up nicely in Ohio’s 2023-24 deer harvest statistics. Less than 1% (526) of deer were shot with a handgun.
Getting within range is often less difficult than making the shot. When a deer shows up, you realize you are not plinking paper. Who needs an EKG to check their heart? Just go deer hunting. It helps when you are prepared to use a handgun for hunting.
