Anglers in the Peshtigo area don’t have far to go to find a diverse fishery because there’s one in their own backyard.
It’s been five years since the DNR last did a deep dive into the Peshtigo Flowage, an impoundment of the Peshtigo River that flows through the city of Peshtigo. Fisheries crews captured more than 1,800 fish during that 2019 survey.
