Minnesota’s Pro Fishing Tip of the Week: Catchin’ crappies in fall

Fall fishing patterns for crappies are developing in west-central Minnesota. Crappies are outside deep weedlines and are now suspending in basins. My rod of choice is a 7-foot ultra-light rod with a fast action. I have it tied up with a jig and a plastic or live minnow.
