Woodcock hunters who hit the woods in the early season are bound to battle tough conditions. With the weather we’ve had this year, it’s buggy and extremely thick out there. A good way to approach this season – at least before the leaves start to come down – is to plan specific routes and try to run tight patterns where the birds should be.
