Pennsylvania Game Commission seeks feedback from antlerless deer license buyers

Steve Smith, the Game Commission’s new executive director, said the feedback hunters provide will help analyze how well the changes work and identify potential improvements. (Stock photo)

The Pennsylvania Game Commission announced in mid-June that it is asking hunters to provide feedback on their antlerless deer license buying experience this summer.
After the agency received a black eye in a highly publicized online license-sales snafu last summer, it revamped the process. This summer, when license sales got underway June 24, antlerless deer licenses became available only for the three wildlife management units where demand is highest – units 1B, 2G and 3A.
