Minnesota’s Pro Fishing Tip of the Week: Catch a monster sturgeon on the river

If you’ve ever wanted to catch the largest species of fish in Minnesota, from now until the season ends May 15 is prime time! The lake sturgeon are currently making their seasonal spawning moves from Lake of the Woods into the Rainy River system, and there is no better time of year to hook into a 5-foot fish.
