If you had visited Tappan Lake in northeast Ohio in late 2007 or 2008, you would have found a saugeye fishery that rivaled any in the state.
Things, however, being cyclical in nature, turned the tides a bit on Tappan. After those heyday years in the early 2000s, saugeyes struggled to take hold.
