Earlier this winter at a meeting of my local county sportsmen’s federation – a group comprised of sporting clubs within the county – the discussion turned to participation and monthly meeting attendance.
A member of one particular club who often attends meetings on his own said his club wasn’t sure if they wanted to rejoin the group as they questioned what would be in it for them.
