Tundra swans were passing through the middle of the country in early March, and Erin Wortley was lucky enough to spot a big group on a local lake at sunset. “It was an amazing sight to see,” she said. These beautiful birds were on their way to breeding grounds in Alaska and northern Canada from wintering grounds along the South Atlantic coast.
