Of all the changes and ideas to improve angling in the state of Pennsylvania through all the years the Fish & Boat Commission has been in existence, Youth Mentored Trout Day is likely the best one. The agency designates a unique Saturday for the youth of the state to fish for trout on select bodies of water a week before the statewide season opener for all licensed trout anglers.
