You have to knock on a lot of doors in order to get a place to hunt deer on private property in Ohio.
Zach Kemper, of Osgood in Darke County, took that to heart. Kemper, 21, knocked on no less than 40 doors in Shelby County before securing permission to hunt a private piece of land. Kemper’s unwavering efforts paid off in a buck of a lifetime, a 19-point animal that green-scored 216 5/8.
