When it comes to deer hunting, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are a lot alike. Both states have long, rich traditions, huge deer herds and hundreds of thousands of avid, dedicated hunters.
And, unfortunately, both states have chronic wasting disease spreading in their deer herds as well as rapidly aging and shrinking hunter numbers.
