At the Natural Resources Board’s May 24 meeting in Madison, the board heard that the DNR will bring eight of nine regulation questions to the NRB for approval June 28 in Milwaukee.
The DNR had presented all nine questions to the public at the spring conservation hearings in April. The one question the DNR does not plan to advance is the proposal to expand the October youth deer hunt from two days to four days. Expanding the youth deer season received 3,492 votes in favor, but 3,649 votes against.
