Minnesota DNR receives second phase of land donation that totals more than 900 acres along St. Croix River

The Minnesota DNR received a 241-acre land donation from the Trust for Public Land that is located within the Chengwatana State Forest near Pine City in eastern Minnesota. The land will be managed by the DNR as part of the state forest, and is the second part of a two-phase donation from TPL that totaled more than 900 acres. (Minnesota DNR photo) 
Expansion of Chengwatana State Forest will offer recreational opportunities, and provide water quality benefits. This transfer completes a two-phase donation from Trust for Public Land totaling more than 900 acres.
