Longtime outdoor leader Bill Pike earns New York Outdoor News Person of the Year honor

Bill Pike is the New York Outdoor News Person of the Year for 2023 after a long career of philanthropy related to the outdoors.

The sporting community is full of people who have spent much of their lives going the extra mile to promote the virtues of their beloved activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting. Now at age 83, Bill Pike, of Hartford, in Washington County, is a prime example of such a person, and he is the New York Outdoor News 2023 Person of the Year.
