Take a kid into the turkey woods this spring and get the most out of the hunt

Some of my most memorable spring gobbler hunts occurred when I didn’t even have a shotgun in my hands. There’s no better feeling than taking a youngster or a non-hunting adult afield and introducing them to our obsession. And if they’re fortunate enough to harvest a bird, it’s even better.
