NORTHWESTERN LP East Jordan Area Deer hunting has been pretty good in Charlevoix County. Some nice bucks have been taken in the area. Bucks are still chasing does. Lake St. Clair High winds late last week kept anglers off Lake St. Clair. Prior to the winds blowing through, anglers reported catching good numbers of perch in the canals and local marinas. State sets new regs for walleyes on Gogebic and other Michigan lakes

Lansing — Walleye anglers on Lake Gogebic can keep a couple 13-inchers if they want to following a regulation change by the state Natural Resources Commission. Deep Creek Lake (Montgomery County) — Pierson Plugs reported nice catches of recently stocked trout through early November. Fish were hitting on minnows, crawlers, soft plastics and artificial lures.
