Northeast Pennsylvania Fish Report – October 23rd, 2015

Lily Lake (Luzerne, Columbia counties) — Some nice bass and panfish were reported from the deeper waters through early October.

Lake Wallenpaupack (Pike, Wayne counties) — Striped bass, walleyes, and brown trout were becoming active on live bait in 20 to 26 feet in early October. Black bass also were hitting.

North Branch Susquehanna River (Bradford, Sullivan counties) —Rainfall in early October made bass more active on split-tail jigs, with dark colors the more productive in turbid water.

Lackawanna Lake (Lackwanna County) — Bass up to 18 inches and a 42-inch-plus muskie were released in recent weeks. The muskie hit a 5-inch plastic crawler fished by a bass angler.

Susquehanna River (Susquehanna, Bradford counties) — Catfish have been hitting all over the river, and bass were reported in the deeper pools in recent weeks.
