Wisconsin's latest crossbow bill is in the final leg of its journey to become law. It has gone through both houses, went back through conference committee to iron out the differences between the Assembly and Senate versions and now sits on Gov. Scott Walker's desk awaiting his signature. Wisconsin Outdoor News contributing writer Lee Fahrney has his ear to the ground for news from that front and will compile a story for the print edition as soon as the governor signs the bill. Bills are often signed in "bunches" and usually with some fanfare, so it could be that the governor is waiting for several bills to come together before setting a date for signature.
