Spring Creek (Centre County)
Recent rainfall made for high flow as of Aug. 18, with water a little off-color and in the mid-to-upper 60s on this limestone stream. Hatches included trico spinner falls in the mornings, and terrestrials during the day. Green weenies were fishing well, as were caddis pupae in olive and tan (16-18), San Juan worms and other go-to nymphs. Hatches included tricos (22-26), midges (22-26), tan caddis (16-18), and light cahills (12-14).
