PGC kills a wild pheasant area

At their quarterly meeting in January, Pennsylvania game commissioners voted to close the Pike Run wild pheasant recovery area in Washington County. No more wild birds will be imported into the watershed and no more research – by the commission anyway – will be done on those that remain.
