According to reports, Keystone Select big trout streams appear to be fishing well.

Primary sportfish species found within the pool are walleye, sauger, saugeye (in low numbers), smallmouth, largemouth, spotted, white, and hybrid striped bass. Other sportfish include crappie, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and blue catfish. West Virginia

Heidecke Lake has pure and hybrid stripers, largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish, walleye, bluegills, crappie and yellow bass. And don’t forget the muskie. Heidecke has them, too, and some big ones.

According to reports, catfish are taking an early lead in the spring bite across the state.
