Walleye fishing has been hit and miss of late. But if you can find some cloudy water, that will help.

Heavy fishing activity was observed in this area this week, with boating anglers targeting walleye and yellow perch.

Panfish action has been on fire of late, with water temps down and a bit of rain in the mix.

Sitting just below Wisconsin’s northern border with the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is Fay Lake, just a shade or two off the Whisker Lake Wilderness area in the Nicolet-Chequamegon National Forest.
