Wind made it tough on some of the bigger lakes in the area.

After a stormy week, Mother Nature finally gave us a weekend with decent weather, which allowed some to get out and enjoy time on the water. Many of the lakes and the Missouri River continue

A quick recap of how the opener went for us and some fishing patterns that worked. Also some go-to presentations and what we’re seeing out on the lakes right now.

Water temperature is the name of the game during the springtime crappie hunt. We’re on the move to find warmer water. Hair jigs and plastics are getting bit, and the crappie spawn is fast-approaching.

The white bass runs on the northwest Ohio rivers are following hot on the heels of the walleye runs.
