Ice-out in the north and striper fishing proving to be early-April highlights.
COVID-19 aside, trout season kickoff fires up anglers. But what will the season hold?
If you can get to the fish, reports indicate angler success at fisheries across the state.
Ice fishing is winding down, and the April 1 trout opener is looming. In the meantime, other species are providing opportunities for anglers across the state.
Most all bodies of water are finally becoming fishable. Lots of white ice. So get out there and enjoy because this might just last a few weeks this year.
With no prolonged cold snap to create better ice conditions, hard-water anglers in most of the state are now dealing with snow conditions that are making for tough travel on the ice. It’s been that
