It has a stellar reputation among muskie-fishing enthusiasts as a lake that not only produces trophy-caliber fish, but also high numbers of muskies.

West Rush is a highly-regarded crappie and bluegill fishery, but the lake also has a fine walleye population.

Crane is a proven fish producer, with a long history of excellent walleye, sauger, smallmouth bass, and crappie fishing.

With an endless supply of docks, along with flats, rocks, and shallow and deep vegetation, you can really fish bass any way you’d like on this lake.

The lake also holds healthy numbers of black and white crappies, a few bluegills and pike, some respectable perch, and plenty of channel catfish. In short, it’s a fine multi-species fishery.

Aside from the carp, the lake has an abundance of walleyes and keeping-size perch.
