Anglers targeting lake trout reported good success here.

Salmon filling rivers; fierce temps greet hunters. Here’s a look at the Michigan fishing and hunting report on Oct. 3, 2025.

Anglers reported good lake trout fishing here, as well as a few coho salmon being caught.

Fall bite picking up. Inland lakes starting to turn over, with fish moving to the shallows. Perch are all the rage.

Boat anglers did well targeting lake trout here, trolling and jigging for them.
