Smallmouth bass, rock bass, catfish, and walleye have been biting on a variety of lures here recently.

Keep an eye on the buoy temp strings at this location to see if the south winds bring cold water back, which will improve fishing tremendously.

Recent hot snap changing things on the fishing front.

On inland lakes, it’s time to focus on late-spring and early summer patterns – 10 feet or less for bass/bluegill is almost always a good bet.

On Lake Michigan, salmon fishing remains good, with mainly coho and a few kings, steelhead, and lake trout mixed in.

On Lake Michigan, the coho bite picked up big time.

On Lake Michigan, bass fishing has been pretty good, with big pre-spawn fish being caught in the usual protected areas near structure.

Generally, the boaters have been having good action in 10-50 feet on Lake Michigan, but don’t be afraid to get away from the pack, especially if chasing kings.
