NORTHEAST METRO Three-way rigs and crankbaits are producing walleyes, sauger, and white bass in 20 to 30 feet on the St. Croix River near Hudson. Muskie action remains favorable with large sucker minnows and quick-strike
LAKE MILLE LACS East – Water temperatures were in the mid-40 degree range earlier this week so the nighttime crankbait bite remains strong on the 12-foot rocks and shoreline breaks. Look for muskies to make
FAIRMONT AREA Minnows are turning crappies and perch from the shorelines out to eight feet on Budd Lake and Lake Sissiton. Work the shorelines of North Silver Lake and Iowa Lake with minnows for perch.
FARIBAULT AREA Crankbaits are producing northern pike at Shields Lake in six to 12 feet, but there hasn’t been any fishing activity on other lakes. Waterfowl hunters are shooting more geese than ducks, archery hunters
DULUTH AREA A few anglers continue to hit Island Lake for walleyes in 10 feet and crappies in 15 feet. On Fish Lake, crappies are being taken on minnows over 15 feet as well. Muskie
