Donegal Lake (Somerset County) Numbers of trout were reported on maggots and power bait. Some bluegills also were reported. Lower Twin Lake (Westmoreland County) Maggots, wax worms, and Powerbait were taking recently-stocked trout through the
Lake Erie Big smallmouth bass were feeding shallow in recent weeks, with jerkbaits and crankbaits the best bet. Nice numbers were reported up to 5½ pounds. Lake Erie tributaries Steelhead season started with good runs,
