The Youth Waterfowl Hunt will be held Sept. 14. A recent study of duck hunters showed the majority supports the hunt, but it also draws significant opposition, according to the DNR.
St. Paul Those who wish to shoot light geese as they pass through Minnesota may do so March 1 through April 30.
The harvest will occur under a federal conservation order that allows 24 states, including Minnesota, to harvest light geese after the close of the hunting seasons.
