Region I – Capt. Laura Petreikis A CPO in Winnebago County responded to a “sick deer” complaint. The deer was recovered, the brain stem and tonsils removed for CWD testing, then properly disposed. A District 7 CPO was investigating an early morning deer poaching incident that occurred in Tazewell County. A suspect has been identified.
