Most fish at Blue Grass pits can be targeted by fishing the weed edges along the banks. Loon and Blue Grass Pits are the go to lakes around Evansville for Crappie and Largemouth
Outdoor News ventured out to the Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo in Blaine, Minn. We were able to talk to a few companies about what they have in store for the 2019-20 ice fishing season. At Clam, Jeff Anderson shared some details of their new ice house, Ice Team Voyager Thermal.
Just a few years ago, ice fishermen predominately pursued walleyes, panfish, and pike, period. Anglers tend to have preferences, of course, and in several states, resource agencies close walleye and pike seasons in late winter until their postspawn period.
