Michigan DNR Fisheries staffers were out jaw-tagging walleye April 2 on the Tittabawassee River and stumbled across this 16.5-pounder – about a pound shy of the state record. The DNR is asking that, if you happen to come across a fish with a jaw tag, to let them know at www.michigan.gov/taggedfish.
