Petenwell Flowage home to outstanding fishery in central Wisconsin

Petenwell Lake ranks as the second largest inland lake in Wisconsin at 23,173 acres, giving way only to Lake Winnebago at more than 135,000 acres. Petenwell is home to multiple game fish and panfish species that give fishermen plenty of options during any season. The flowage also supports several rough fish species that attract a cadre of bowfishermen.
