Minnesota Pheasants Forever and the Minnesota Prairie Chicken Society have been working in partnership to restore lands in the state’s primary prairie chicken range for nearly a decade.
Sabin Adams, Minnesota state coordinator with Pheasants Forever, said efforts began in 2017. Through the partnership, he said, they have acquired lands suitable for prairie chicken habitat and worked to restore the native prairie grouse.
