Wisconsin Wildlife Federation wants summit to tackle DNR budget woes

Wisconsin Wildlife Federation Executive Director Cody Kamrowski is spearheading an initiative to address the dire financial straits of the Department of Natural Resources’ fish and wildlife fund by asking for participation by state conservation groups and license buyers.
Kamrowski is organizing an informal DNR fish and game “budget summit” for Monday, Aug. 24, in Madison to gather potential funding ideas from conservation group members and individual sportsmen.
