Despite anglers taking a substantial chunk of their annual quota, Minnesota DNR officials say Lake Mille Lacs likely will have no new regulations throughout the rest of the open water season.
Greg Berg, area fisheries supervisor for Mille Lacs, said it has been a good year for both walleye angling and harvest compared to past years. Mille Lacs just moved through its fifth creel period of the summer.
