What’s the state of Ohio’s blue catfish? DOW’s program leader weighs in

One of the early lakes to be stocked with blue catfish, Hoover Reservoir has become a phenomenal fishery for trophy anglers. Anglers from near and far come to catch their personal best or first blue.
Some of these anglers have been wondering just how things are going. To learn what and why, Richard Zweifel, inland fisheries program administrator for the ODNR Division of Wildlife, answered the following questions.
